The term "Waqi" in Arabic refers to an event or occurrence, which is a fundamental concept in Islam. It emphasizes the notion that every happenstance, minor or major, is part of God's grand design. This concept is reflected in various aspects of Islamic culture, such as in the hadith (sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad) where he advised people to prepare for the unexpected, saying, "Take upon yourselves Sadeeq [loyalty, sincerity] towards Allah and each other, as the day which does not concern you, will come." This teaches us the importance of staying ready and being mindful of the reality that the future is uncertain, and that unexpected events can bring about significant changes.
