Waliyyatun

In Islamic tradition, a wali (friend) of Allah is considered a pious and righteous individual, as mentioned in the Quran (10:62-63).

In Islamic culture, the title "Waliyy" or "Waliyyah" (plural: Waliyyun) is an honorable title bestowed upon individuals who hold a special status as a friend, protector, or caretaker for others. Historically, the term has been used to refer to prominent figures such as saints, scholars, or spiritual leaders, who through their piety and devotion, have earned this title through their selfless acts and deep faith.
