In Islamic tradition, the pomegranate is a symbol of Paradise and is mentioned in the Holy Quran. It is said that one good deed is equal to the merit of eating a pomegranate.

The pomegranate is a vital symbol in Islamic culture, carrying rich spiritual and symbolic significance. The fruit’s name is mentioned several times in the Quran and hadiths. In one hadith, Rasulullah (SAW) said: “There is a tree in Paradise called the Sidr; its fruits are like pomegranates, but each pomegranate contains seventy, and each seed seventy, thus amounting to forty-six thousand seeds. A laborer would eat only one seed, and when harvesting he would collect forty or fifty hundred baskets (of seeds). Of these seeds he would fill a subterranean mansion from one encounter (with Allah)" (Bukhari).
