Jalees

Jalees is a name that embodies the spiritual qualities of humility and service to others. It is a reminder that even those who are in positions of power or authority should be humble and selfless in their actions.

The name Jalees carries significant cultural importance, as it is mentioned in the Holy Quran and hadiths. In Surah Al-Imran, Allah says, "And when the Soul reaches the portion of Knowledge it is said: Take ye the good news (O soul that is in a state of death)! You have responded (to your Lord) correctly, and I will forgive thee (thy sins): (154) This Day we shall let you mount (from your grave) (155) Among honourable Nazareen (i.e. Prophets, Saints, martyrs)... " (Aali Imran, Verses 153-155). Here, Jalees is referred to as 'Nazareen', meaning, 'the one given to the good news of the Paradise', who has responded to Allah's call and been granted admission into Jannah (Heaven). Moreover, in the Hadiths, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) describes Jalees as being among the people from heaven, who will call out to the believers on the Day of Judgement and ask them to hasten towards Allah.
