Hijrat

The concept of Hijrat is mentioned in the Quran, where Allah says, 'And whoever emigrates in the cause of Allah will find on the earth many locations and abundance.' (Quran 4:100)

The Hijrat, or the migration of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) from Mecca to Medina in 622 AD, is considered a pivotal moment in Islamic history as it marked the beginning of the Islamic calendar and the establishment of the first Islamic state.
