In Islamic tradition, the term "Ghayas" has significant cultural importance as it embodies the concept of hospitality and welcoming strangers. As Muslims, we are encouraged to treat all guests with kindness and respect, as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He does not abandon him, for the right of the brother [in religion] is put in the hand of Allah, and the earth is made wide for the former and the latter, and Allah is Compassionate and Mercyful." (Bukhari) The word Ghayas symbolizes the spirit of welcoming and offering help to those in need, regardless of their background or ethnicity, as they may perhaps return the favor one day. Moreover, it also signifies the importance of travel in Islamic culture for both religious and educational purposes.
