Djazirah

A symbol of self-containment, stability, and prosperity

Djazirah, in Arabic, refers to a small island or fertile land. Historically, it is most notably associated with the region of Al-Jazirah Al-Khafajah, located in what is now northern Iraq. This area was once the heart of the Assyrian and Babylonian civilizations, and was later a significant center of Islamic learning and culture. It was home to renowned scholars and scientists like Al-Farabi, Ibn Rushd, and Ibn Al-Haytham. Their works in philosophy, medicine, mathematics, and astronomy influenced European thought and often served as the foundation for Western scientific knowledge.
