In one instance, it is used in Surah Al-Muddaththir, where Allah (SWT) addresses Prophet Moses (AS) and speaks of Daqiqulqarya, or the pair of young locusts, that displayed the power of Allah to Prophet Pharaoh, conveying the message of the impending punishment for his disbelief. Furthermore, one of the 99 names of Allah (SWT) is Al-Saghaf, which can be translated to 'the owner of dawn', and the word Saghaf, meaning dawn, can be derived from the same Arabic root 'd-q-q', yielding a connection between the name for both the young, new day and the young, innocent soul.
