The title "Caliphah" is often associated with the wife of a Caliph in the Islamic world. Historically, Caliphates were political and religious entities that functioned as a successor to the Islamic Prophet Muhammad in leading the Ummah (global community of Muslims). As the wife of the Caliph, the Caliphah held a significant position of power and influence within the Islamic community. She was expected to embody the virtues of patience, resilience, and piety, as demonstrated by her husband, the Caliph. The role of the Caliphah and her influence extended beyond the confines of the palace, as she would often act as a mediator between her husband and the people, as well as a patron of charities and religious institutions.
