In Islamic history, Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, one of the earliest converts to Islam and the first Caliph, sent an expedition under the command of Buraidah ibn Al-Husbin Al-Aslami. This military campaign, known as the Expedition of Buraidah, aimed to maintain the territorial gains of the Muslim state and to protect the early Muslim community in Medina from threats.
