Ahin

Protection and guidance during the night

The name "Ahin" in the Islamic culture is associated with the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) as mentioned in the Hadith. In one incident, it is said that Hajar, Ibrahim's wife, was wandering in the desert with her baby, Ismail, when she ran out of water. She prayed to Allah and was promised that a well would spring from where she had dropped her water container. This well was later called the Zamzam Well, a significant site in Islamic history and pilgrimage. The night that Hajar and Ismail were first provisioned with water from the well is referred to as 'Laylatul Ahi (The Night of the Mahdi)'. It is believed that children born during this night are blessed and may have special spiritual qualities. The name 'Ahin' possibly originated from this incident and translates to 'the one born during the night'.
