Biblical scripture: Exodus 2:16 (And the priest Reuel had a daughter, and her name was Jether: and Jether went out to the well to water her father's sheep. And the priest of Midian had a son: and he was named Eliezer; and Jether went to the well to water the sheep of her father's brother Reuel. And Eliezer the priest said unto her, Why art thou come alone to the well to water the sheep to day? And she said, To water the sheep of my father Reuel. And he said unto her, Then come thou hither, and I will water thy flock. And when she had let down the well-fetter for her cattle, and they had drunk, Reuel's daughter spake unto him, Say, I pray thee, the place is calm, and the hill is fruitful: is not here thy place? why wilt thou be continual in going to thine father's house? And when Moses was grown up, he went out unto his brethren to feel their work; and he saw an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren. And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.)
